Because of the cultural differences, every country has its own unique style of designing. It could range from color, composition, or different medium altogether. Coming from an Asian background myself, I also try to incorporate Asian themes in to my design. Although each designer tries to develop their own style and uniqueness, it's not how different your design looks but how well it communicates to your audience. Design that captures people's imaginations is very important. I also think design that communicates with audience as well, is a better design.
