I travel within the city I call home. My occupation has taught me the refinements of construction and space. I observe the surrounding neighborhoods where daily life occurs and document the forgotten aspects of where we call place, silent neighborhoods or gentrified lots. I photograph them, within my travels, I can recall their misplaced beauty. My travels are not limited through carnal incursions, but remote means to capture the influences of the collage work. The process is through a digital medium. The means of scanning, information browsing, drawing, television, and photography are the springboard for my work. I have always been passionate about collage, and found a way to produce this work through the computer. My intentions are not creative or should they be deemed original. I interpret the images to place an identity all their own. I can't say that I'm a writer nor do I write that well.
