Unfortunately, I was born in Framingham and grew up in Sudbury. My angle on the outsider thing is that although I was born and raised in Massachusetts, my parents insisted we [the kids] were really Southerners because they themselves were from Virginia. In fact my family background resides in Virginia, Arkansas and Poland. Odd combo, but true. As a result I feel like I'm from nowhere.
